Manchester United legend Gary Neville showed his passion on Thursday as England beat Wales 2-1 at Euro 2016 thanks to Daniel Sturridge’s late winner.

Gareth Bale had put the Welsh 1-0 up in Lens but goals from Jamie Vardy and Sturridge meant England secured their first win at the competition.

Neville, who is assisting Roy Hodgson for England, ran down the pitch to celebrate with the players:

It was a memorable moment for England and you can hardly blame Neville for letting his emotion get the better of him.

He hasn’t had too much to shout about lately, following a failed spell in management at Valencia, and he will now be hoping England kick on at the Euros along with the rest of the country.

The match was also one to remember for Man United fans as Marcus Rashford made his bow in the competition. The 18-year-old replaced Adam Lallana after 73 minutes played and he put in a solid display.
