Adnan Januzaj has posted a video on Instagram of him working hard after he was left out of Marc Wilmots’ Belgium squad for Euro 2016.
The youngster suffered an injury during training after he returned from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and hasn’t received much game time at Old Trafford.
He quickly burst onto the scene under David Moyes two seasons ago but has struggled to make an impact since then and his failed loan spell hasn’t helped his development.
It’s good to see him working hard as he’ll be looking to get in shape for the new season if he wants to impress new manager Jose Mourinho.
He was shipped off halfway through the campaign after an impressive start but his return has been delayed as a result of a few small injuries ending his season early.
He failed to start any Bundesliga games and his loan spell went so badly Louis van Gaal decided to recall him to United. It’s been a disappointing season and I’m hoping it was just a blip in his career that hasn’t impacted his development as a player.
Fans will be happy to see him focusing on his career and being dropped from Belgium’s squad may be the boost he needed to work harder on his future, he has plenty of potential and will be hoping to get his head down for the best possible start to next season with his future at Old Trafford uncertain under Mourinho.
