Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, according to German football expert Raphael Honigstein. He has a year left on his Dortmund deal and has been heavily linked with a move Old Trafford as Mourinho appears to land his transfer target.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will undergo a medical at Old Trafford next week ahead of a move to Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports. Personal terms on a one-year contract were agreed prior to Euro 2016 after negotiations between Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola and Man United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward had taken place.

Man United have reportedly submitted a bid of €100 million for Paul Pogba and are now considered ahead of Real Madrid in the race for his signature. Pogba has been tipped to leave Juventus this summer but few teams are willing to cough up the money the Italian club want for his services.

Tahith Chong says money had nothing to do with his decision to join the club. Pending official announcement, 17-year-old Tahith Chong will move from Feyenoord’s academy to Man United’s and will play in a left or right attacking midfield position. While giving several reasons as to choosing United, he says he was impressed by the club and was not motivated solely by the contract.
