Memphis Depay has released another video of his preparations for the pre-season under new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.
It’s clear he’s trying to convey a message this summer, the Dutchman looks much leaner and faster compared to last season as he’s stopped bulking in the gym.
Many hoped Memphis would be one of Louis van Gaal‘s standout signing after he arrived from PSV Eindhoven last summer, but he failed to make an impact in England and couldn’t cement his place on van Gaal’s first-team.
In his latest video on Twitter, Memphis showed a variety of different exercises in his routine.

Memphis has shown plenty of potential during his debut season, particularly in Europe, but will need to show he is capable of performing in England if he wants to impress Mourinho.
He’s still young and will be relishing the opportunity to work under the Portuguese boss after being used as super sub by van Gaal towards the end of last season, often only playing for 10-15 minutes.
It was hard for him to build up consistency last season, but he has everything in place to succeed at Old Trafford this season and he has gone the right way about giving himself a head start with his hard work over the summer.
