Di Marzio: Mkhitaryan to Man United is done and he’s found a house in Manchester

by Sam Peoples

The ever reliable Gianluca di Marzio has said Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan has completed his move to Manchester United.

He also reports that Mkhitaryan has already found a house in Manchester and if all of that is correct, we’re just an official announcement away from the Armenian midfielder becoming another Jose Mourinho signing.

Having been firmly behind the Jose Mourinho to Man United reports right from the very beginning as well as being first with news of Matteo Darmian‘s move to United, Di Marzio has built up a strong reputation among fans as an excellent source of transfer news.

Mourinho is working wonders so far in the transfer market. Like a methodical surgeon, he’s identifying United’s weaknesses and strengthening in all the right areas; a new centre-back, striker and winger are three critical areas we needed to improve this summer and by the start of July we’ve got that all sewn up.

Now we’re just a new central midfielder and potentially another centre-back away from this being a perfect window as far as incomings are going and there are likely to be a few players leaving as well. All in all, after a few years of underwhelming transfer windows as far as the final results have gone, this one is shaping up very nicely.
