Anthony Martial is delighted Didier Deschamps’ French side have progressed to the final at Euro 2016 and has called on fans for their support in the final.

The Manchester United attacker has failed to make a lasting impact for France that many believed he would at the tournament, but he’s still young and will surely have plenty of opportunities to play for his country.

He took to Instagram on Thursday night after France beat Germany 2-0 thanks to a brace from Antoine Griezmann and Martial thanked the fans for the support at the Stade Velodrome, “Thank you for your support we will still need you for this last game #Finale”

He is surely excited at the prospect of working under Jose Mourinho, who plays a style of football which will suit Martial down to the ground.

With plenty of space to play with on the counter, Martial’s speed and silky footwork will enable him to get into one-on-one situations and beat defenders as they retreat in fear.

Martial was a relatively unknown talent at Monaco last year but he is now in a position to fight for his place on a potential European Championship winning side and should be an integral part of a United team ready to bounce back after a couple of years of relatively poor results and performances.
