Real Madrid have ended their interest in signing Manchester United target Paul Pogba, according to Sky Sports.
Man United’s financial strength has allegedly given them a huge advantage in negotiations with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola and forced Real to end their pursuit of the Frenchman.
The Old Trafford club now have a clear run at signing Pogba as main rivals Madrid have pulled out of the race due to economic reasons.
Pogba’s fee is said to be around £85m, but add-ons based on his success at the club and his agent’s fee could see the total easily reaching over £100m.

Pogba would sign a five-year-contract to tie his long-term future down at Old Trafford and he would easily become one of our highest paid players at £250,000-per-week.
He left on a free transfer after he fell our with Sir Alex Ferguson due to a lack of game time, but would be at the heart of Jose Mourinho’s new United squad.
Mourinho has underlined his ability to attract world-class talent at Old Trafford as he has already signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly this summer. Possibly adding Pogba to the mix would leave a very exciting squad for fans to watch in the Premier League next season as the Portuguese boss looks to get the club back to the top.
