Eric Bailly has been pictured for the first time enjoying his training sessions at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old was Jose Mourinho’s first signing for Man United, joining last month for a fee of around £30m.
He enjoyed an excellent season with Villarreal before his move to Old Trafford and, at just 22, has the potential to develop into one of the world’s best defenders, especially under the tutelage of Mourinho.
Photos were released of Bailly looking comfortable during his inaugural week of training sessions at Carrington:
Like Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Bailly could make his United debut this Saturday against Wigan Athletic and having seen so little of his time at Villareal, I can’t wait to see him in action because it’s hard to judge what sort of defender he’ll be until he’s playing.
The excitement is now palpable for United fans as we’re just a couple of days away from seeing Mourinho, Mkhitaryan and Bailly roll out for their first United game and we’ve still got Zlatan Ibrahimovic to come.
