Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has set a deadline for when the Frenchman’s future will be decided, according to Marca’s Jose Felix Diaz.
Various reports have claimed Pogba has already reached an agreement with Manchester United, who are set to smash the world transfer record to bring the 23-year-old back to Old Trafford.
However, Juventus are reluctant to let Pogba leave, and Real Madrid have also expressed an interest in the midfielder. According to Felix Diaz, Raiola will ensure that the player’s future is decided by the end of the month.
In his article on Marca, Diaz wrote: “Pogba is currently on holiday in Los Angeles and from there he is in constant contact with his agent Mino Raiola – who, MARCA has learned, has set a deadline of the end of July for sorting out the player’s future.”
As Pogba remains on holiday following his Euro 2016 exploits and as Raiola looks to seal the best possible deal for himself and the Frenchman, this transfer saga looks as if it will continue for some time.
That said, all the signs point towards Man United getting their man: Madrid are reluctant to match Mourinho’s astronomical offer; Juventus can hardly turn down such an incredible offer, and Pogba, who still regards United as his ‘first family’, will be keen to prove himself at Old Trafford after he was so unfairly ostracised by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012.
