Zlatan Ibrahimovic hopes Paul Pogba joins Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hopeful that Paul Pogba joins Manchester United this summer as the next piece in Jose Mourinho’s jigsaw.

Pogba to Man United is already a done deal behind the scenes but there has been no official confirmation yet, so fans are keen to get any sort of updates on the situation.

Speaking to Swedish television after Man United’s 5-2 win over Galatasaray, Ibrahimovic made it clear he feels Mourinho is building something special at United which Pogba would certainly improve.

He said: “If Pogba comes as well it’ll be more interesting, we’ll see, there’s something great being built here.”

It’s just a matter of time before the announcement is made official by both Juventus and United but we’re all itching to hear it as soon as possible. Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Bailly? I mean, come on, that’s as good as it gets.

Ibrahimovic’s impact on his debut was testament to his ability and I get a sneaky feeling Pogba will have a similar sort of influence in midfield. Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait too long next week for the announcement.
