Manchester United’s new look attack is so exciting

Manchester United were dull under Louis van Gaal but if there is one thing we’re not going to be under Jose Mourinho, it’s boring.

I mean, come on, look at our attacking options which Man United showed brilliantly with the caption ‘Attack, attack, attack, attack, attack’ on Twitter before we kicked off against Galatasaray.

Marcus Rashford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney. There’s goals galore in that team. While the ‘Attack, attack, attack’ chant was ironically cheered at van Gaal’s United side as fans were desperate to encourage the Dutchman to play more attacking football – that won’t happen under Mourinho.

Yes, the Portuguese boss has built a reputation for ‘parking the bus’ when he needs to but he outscored Barcelona’s best ever team in two out of three seasons there, so he’s also got a reputation for scoring goals galore.

United are a team who have built their history on bringing through the youth and exciting, vibrant, attacking football. We’re in the perfect position to stick to both of those ideologies this season under Mourinho and I for one can’t wait for it all to kick off against Bournemouth.

If those four strikers can find their rhythm, then there is easily 100 goals between them over the course of the season and that doesn’t even take into account the likes of Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Memphis Depay. This year is going to be a blockbuster one, bring it on.
