Man United hope Andreas Pereira will follow Adnan Januzaj in Premier League loan move

Manchester United are hoping to persuade Andreas Pereira to follow Adnan Januzaj with a loan move to a Premier League club, according to reports.

Both youngsters were allegedly told after the pre-season tour of China that they will not have a role in Jose Mourinho’s plans for this season.

Januzaj agreed a season-long move to Sunderland under David Moyes last week and the club are now hoping Pereira will follow suit.

The pair become frustrated at Old Trafford last season by the lack of first-team opportunities under Louis van Gaal, but have the option to build on their long-term futures now.

A loan move to a Premier League club will do both players a world of good and will seriously help with their development after featuring each week in England.

Pereira has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough with Aitor Karanka believed to be interested in the Brazilian’s services ahead of the campaign.

Hopes are he will accept a loan move and will be able to improve his game and slot back into United’s side when a place opens up on the first-team.
