Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Manchester United’s Under-23 coach Warren Joyce has declared that more players will leave Old Trafford on loan this summer. Adnan Januzaj and Guillermo Varela have already left the club on a temporary basis, moving to Sunderland and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.

Raphael Varane has revealed the reasons behind why he chose to stay at Real Madrid amid interest from Man United. Jose Mourinho signed the Frenchman from Lens in 2011 during his time as Madrid manager, and the youngster swiftly developed into one of the finest defenders in the world under the Special One’s tutelage. Varane has received strong attention from Man United, alongside other clubs, ever since he broke through the ranks in Spain.

Gabriel Barbosa’s agent, Wagner Ribeiro, has dismissed rumours of a potential move to Man United, labelling the link as “mere speculation.”  Barbosa, more commonly known as just Gabriel, has reportedly been on Man United’s radar for some time, with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Leicester City also expressing interest.

Marcos Rojo is unaware of any swap deal involving himself and Southampton defender Jose Fonte, according to Sky Sports.It was reported this week that Jose Mourinho – who is keen on landing another defender before the transfer window closes –  was willing to offload the Argentine as a means of securing Fonte’s signature.
