Ryan Giggs insists he is a big fan of Manchester united left-back Luke Shaw.
He has continued his impressive start to the Premier League season and helped Jose Mourinho’s side cruise to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Southampton.
The 21-year-old missed most of the 2015/16 campaign after Shaw suffered a broken during the Champions League group stages last September.
Speaking about his talent, Giggs claims Shaw has come back and continued his run a brilliant player.
“He hasn’t had an easy time. His first season he found difficult. His second season he was flying and had that horrific injury.
“He has come back this year and he looks fit and he looks eager to learn. He is a brilliant player and can get box-to-box very easily.”
Giggs coached Shaw for two seasons as Louis van Gaal‘s assistant manager and his admiration for the England full-back is something most fans share.
Shaw got off to a specular start last season and while many critics believed he wouldn’t reach the same form, he has continued his campaign from where it left off.
He has plenty of talent and will play a vital role for Mourinho as the Portuguese boss looks to get the club back to it’s former glory days.
