Ryan Giggs has warned Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho fans want him to win the Premier League title in style.

The Portuguese boss has guided his side to two wins from their opening two league games and has gotten the campaign off to a great start.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice in Friday’s 2-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford and has taken his tally to four goals in three competitive appearances.

Speaking about Man United’s chances, Giggs insists they have a good shot at lifting the trophy this year.

“United fans demand attractive football, and that’s been the complaint over the last three years since Sir Alex [Ferguson] retired,” he said.

“But we need to be fighting for titles and I think they’ve got a good chance this year.”

Louis van Gaal received plenty of criticism during his time at Old Trafford after fans grew frustrated with the lack of excitement in his rigid play style.

However, Mourinho’s United side look like a completely new team as they not only dominate possession but also make chances and score plenty of goals.

The Portuguese boss looks like he has everything in place with his new signings to finally help his dream club lift the trophy at the end of the season.
