Eric Bailly puts in spectacular showing for Manchester United against Hull City

It feels like I’m repeating myself each week, but Eric Bailly has put in another spectacular showing for Manchester United against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium this weekend.

The Ivorian international helped Jose Mourinho’s side see out a 1-0 victory and continued to build a lovely partnership with Dutch defender Daley Blind.

His timing has been excellent so far this campaign and to say he’s only 22, it looks like Mourinho has unearthed a real gem with plenty of development still ahead of him at Old Trafford.

Here’s a look at his impressive stats against Mike Phelan’s Hull side at full-time.

Bailly has been absolutely solid in each showing for Man United and has successfully won over fans since his arrival at Old Trafford this summer.

Many believed he’d partner Chris Smalling in the centre of defence, but Daley Blind and Bailly have put in excellent showings, complimenting each other, despite having such different defending styles.

Bailly has taken control of Man United’s backline and it looks like we’ll only see a bigger improvement on our already impressive defensive structure from last season.
