Henrikh Mkhitaryan has sent a message to Manchester United fans after suffering an injury in Armenia’s friendly with the Czech Republic.
He picked up the knock in a collision with Marek Suchy during the first-half and was taken off the pitch as a result.
The 27-year-old could now miss the Manchester Derby after the Armenian FA confirmed he had suffered a thigh injury which could take a week to 10 days to heal.
Mkhitaryan has now returned to Manchester and is waiting to be assessed by Man United’s medical staff at Carrington.
My dear fans, I appreciate much that you worry about me, thank you! I'm now back in Manchester for treatment and hope to be fit very soon!

Tests showed his injury was not encouraging and it’s a race against time for the Armenian midfielder to be fit for one of United’s biggest games of the season.
Fans were hoping he’d finally play a full 90 minutes against Pep Guardiola’s side on September 10 after being eased into football in England by Jose Mourinho.
It’s a shame to see him injured before he has been able to make a mark on Mourinho’s side but hopes are he is able to return even stronger.
