Zlatan Ibrahimovic plans to start studying towards his coaching badges this season as he looks to a career in management.

The Manchester United forward is in the latter stages of his career at Old Trafford, but he hasn’t shown it, getting his Premier League career off to the perfect start with three goals in as many Premier League matches.

He retired ed from international football shortly before joining Mourinho and report suggest talks of a contract extension have already started after a spectacular start to life in England.

A United source allegedly told The Sun he is looking forward to a management career when he retires.

“Zlatan is already tapping into Jose Mourinho and planning for the future in the game,” he said.

“He has told the lads he does not see an end to his playing days for another two or three years.

“Jose has left his door open and Ibra likes the idea of coaching, but not necessarily a manager right away. He is enjoying picking up a few ideas and he fancies Italy.

“Ibra will take a badge when things settle down for him early in New Year and then progress it next summer.”

Ibrahimovic has been sensational since his arrival at Old Trafford and he will help the development of young talents such as Marcus Rashford, providing the Swede with the perfect platform to practice his coaching abilities.

Zlatan’s extensive knowledge about the game will undoubtedly play a huge role in his management career and I doubt he’ll be shy of offers.
