Anthony Martial has provided Manchester United fans with a positive update on his injury situation after he was taken off against Watford.
The French attacker went down with a head injury after a collision with a Watford defender and had to be given medical attention for some time before he continued to play but he had to go off not long after when another Watford defender clattered him with a forceful challenge from the side and Martial looked like he was suffering.
So, it’s excellent to hear from Martial that he is feeling better ahead of our match against Northampton Town, although he is surely unlikely to travel and play in the EFL Cup opener.
Feel much better today. Thanks for all your support and your messages! 👍 pic.twitter.com/e0eyV2BJBv

Like so many other United players, Martial is yet to really hit the ground running with Man United but it would be a blow if he was sidelined with injury, so hopefully he’ll be able to overcome any problems in time for our clash with Leicester City on Saturday.
Last season Martial was lethal and one of the best attackers in the Premier League. We’re yet to see that under Jose Mourinho but the talent is still there, all he needs is a bit of confidence and I am sure once he’s got his first goal under his belt that we’ll start to see the best out of Martial once again.
