Luke Shaw didn’t part in Manchester United’s final training session for our Europa League clash with FC Zorya on Thursday.
The defender has been missing since our 3-1 loss away to Watford and in his place both Marcos Rojo and Daley have operated as our left-back in the subsequent games with Northampton FC and Leicester City.
One of those two players is likely to play at left-back against FC Zorya and I don’t think that’s the worst thing in the world.

Shaw should be given as much time to recover as possible from any sort of injury he gets this season. Having spent just under a year on the sidelines last season, it would be devastating for him and Man United if he were to pick up any new serious injury, so it’s best to err on the side of caution.
Maybe Luke will be able to return on Sunday for our Premier League clash with Stoke City at Old Trafford but until he does come back to training and action, he’ll simply have to remain patient and not rush himself back.
