Daley Blind is confident Manchester United will score many more goals from set pieces in course of the season.

Man United scored three of their four goals from corners as they strolled to a 4-1 victory over Leicester City.

Blind who was given the responsibility for corners, managed to deliver pin point crosses into the box which were guided into the net by Chris Smalling, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

While talking to United Review ahead of Sunday’s fixture against Stoke City, the 26-year-old claimed United can be threatening from set pieces.

“We did that several times last season as well,” he said.

“We have a lot of height in the team, which is a danger, and I was very happy with my crosses. The players were there to head the ball in and it’s a great feeling to be involved in three of the four goals like that. I think we can score a lot more goals from set-pieces.”

After losing three games in a row, United bounced back with a strong response, nailing the defending champions into the ground.

With the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly in the squad, Mourinho will look to exploit his team’s height advantage whenever possible.

Having won against Leicester and Zorya Luhansk in the week, United will look to carry this momentum into the game against Mark Hughes’ side and try and close down the gap at the top of the table.
