Daley Blind insists he knows what Jose Mourinho wants from his players at Manchester United.
The Dutchman is currently in Holland with Memphis Depay for their World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and France.
Many believed he’d be left out of the starting XI for Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling in the centre of defence, but has quickly worked his way into a big role under Jose Mourinho.
Speaking about his talents, Blind claims he’s the type of player that knows how to adapt.
“I am looking forward to the period after the international break,” he said.
“That is why you want to play for Manchester United. I like that.
“I can only speak personally but for me I know what the manager wants and likes. His way of thinking about football is great and I have learned a lot already.
“I think I am the kind of player who can adapt quickly and I think I am [doing]. Every manager has his own ideas and that is the only difference there is.”
After the international break Man United travel to Liverpool, before hosting Fenerbahce in the Europa League three days later.
They will then play against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Mourinho will undoubtedly be looking to rotate his squad following a busy month of fixtures.
Blind has built an excellent partnership with Bailly at centre-back and the Portuguese boss will be looking to work on his side’s recent performances.
