Paul Pogba criticised after poor performance for France

Paul Pogba is yet to hit top form for Manchester United since returning to the club this summer and unfortunately he took that inconsistent form into the international break.

Starting for France and completing the full 90 minutes in their game against Bulgaria on Friday, Pogba was lambasted for a poor performance.

Right now, it’s really not going too well for Pogba and the criticism is starting to get louder and more widespread:

I think the point made by Annie at Sport Witness is pretty prevalent in this whole situation – Pogba has indeed brought a lot of this pressure on him. The whole move was so public and big that pressure was inevitable on Paul to perform immediately. Of course, his price tag was not his fault but the public nature behind it all, being firmly in the spotlight, wasn’t helped by himself.

There isn’t any pressure from United fans. We’ll only continue to support him but as you can see in the reaction to his performance for France, there is growing pressure from the media and external factors which are going to start having an impact on him.
