Manchester United play Fenerbahce at Old Trafford on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League Group stages and here is our potential XI ahead of the fixture.
Wayne Rooney was introduced at 77 minutes for Man United’s clash against Liverpool after Marcus Rashford was forced off with a cramp and many believe if he starts against Fenerbahce he won’t be in the starting XI against Chelsea a few days later.
While Man United have gotten the Europa League campaign back on track with a 1-0 victory over FC Zorya Luhansk, they also need to rotate some players ahead of two very important games against Man City and Chelsea.
Here’s a look at our potential XI ahead of the game.
Anthony Martial was left out of the Anfield trip after reports suggested he had a knee problem and it remains to be seen how serious it is, but the Fenerbahce game could be the perfect fixture to ease him back into play.
The same goes for Mkhitaryan, who hasn’t seen much game time at Man United since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund and will be hoping to find his feet under Mourinho.
With Shaw picking up a few minutes against Liverpool he could be hoping to make a longer showing against Fenerbahce and with Rashford suffering from a cramp against Liverpool hopes are he’ll be fit to face the Turkish side.
