Jesse Lingard gave a spectacular performance during Manchester United’s 4-1 victory over Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Englishman produced some brilliant link-up play with Paul Pogba for his goal against the Turkish side at Old Trafford before scoring a wonderful goal to get his name on the team sheet.
Here’s a glance at his stats after once of his best showings this campaign: 93% pass accuracy, 1 chance created, 1 shot, 1 assist, 1 goal.
It seemed like after Pogba found the back of the net for the second time of the night, Lingard wanted to follow and did so in perfect fashion.
He was subbed off in the second-half for Memphis Depay and Jose Mourinho may be looking to keep him sharp for his side’s clash against Chelsea.
After Man United scored two penalties early, the game opened for Mourinho’s men and it was brilliant to see Lingard enjoying himself and celebrating with Pogba.
Lingard has proven himself in some of United’s biggest games so far and will be giving Mourinho some difficult decisions to make when selecting his side with Henrikh Mkhitaryan set to make his return within the next few weeks.
