Henrikh Mkhitaryan is remaining positive and upbeat despite still waiting for his Manchester United career to begin in earnest.
Many fans felt Mkhitaryan’s absence from Man United’s squad to face Burnley was the point where real questions should be asked as to why Henrikh is not being included by Jose Mourinho, not even on the bench.
We’re all eager to see Mkhitaryan get started properly at United and the Armenian midfielder sent this message to fans after our 0-0 with Burnley making it clear he’s keen to get United back on track as well (note, I hope Mkhitaryan’s reference to the Three Musketeers, with the holy trinity statue, was on purpose. Top red points if it was).

I’m not going to lie – after Mkhitaryan’s absence against Burnley, I am worried about him. There was no better game to introduce him properly into the Premier League than playing against Burnley at home, a side who up until yesterday had an absolutely atrocious record on the record. Leaving him out against Man City made sense, however the lack of inclusion against Burnley had plenty of reds scratching their heads.
Mkhitaryan’s style of play is something that can add so much to our attack and if we can get 37 shots away without him in the team, imagine what we could do if he came in for Jesse Lingard. The possibilities are mouthwatering.
If Mourinho has indeed continued to hold Mkhitaryan back simply because he isn’t fit enough then it’s only a matter of time before we see him firing on all cylinders and with one more game against Swansea before an international break, there is no reason why he wouldn’t be completely fit and ready to face Arsenal at home.
