Marouane Fellaini: Every player at Manchester United is behind Jose Mourinho

Marouane Fellaini insists every player is behind Jose Mourinho and his philosophy at Manchester United.

Mourinho’s team sit in seventh in the Premier League and are in a difficult position in their Europa League group as the pressure continues to mount.

His side suffered a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, followed by a 0-0 home draw with Burnley, where they managed 37 shots and then lost 2-1 loss at Fenerbahce in the Europa League.

Speaking about the Portuguese boss, Fellaini claims everyone at the club trusts him.

“Every player trusts him, his philosophy and we have to follow him,” he said.

“We trust him. He’s here to win things. He’s a manager with a lot of motivation, he wants to win, and that’s what we need.

“But to build a team you need time. I think we have the right manager and we have to give him the confidence and the time he needs.

“The fans want victories, they want good football, but I think the victories will come, we are not far away and we have to keep going.”

Fellaini was a big part of Mourinho’s squads at the start of the season, but Ander Herrera has proven he has more to offer alongside Paul Pogba.

While the Belgian hasn’t been playing recently, he has still massively upped his game since last season under Louis van Gaal and has proven he can be relied upon.

United may be in a rough patch at the moment but it’s good to hear the players are still confident about Mourinho and his plans.
