Why Jose Mourinho was left infuriated with his players at Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was infuriated by four Manchester United players as they organised for a hair stylist to visit them within their team hotel in London, the day before the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, according to reports.

Daily Mirror haven’t identified two of the players but they claim Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo were among those involved in the incident.

Mourinho voiced his feelings at his team’s defending at Stamford Bridge but reports suggest there was some unrest in the United camp before kick-off.

He was furious with the players in questions and told them maintaining their focus in the immediate lead up to games is paramount.

The side have suffered a shaky start to the campaign and have struggled to maintain any consistency, leaving United sixth in the Premier League, six points off leaders Liverpool.

Following the 3-1 win over Swansea City he implied Luke Shaw and Chris Smalling need to toughen up, even though he has previously publicly criticised Shaw over his positioning against Watford.

His players should be used to his ways by now, however there are some concerns over his methods at Old Trafford.
