Manchester United duo Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling were the main absentees from training ahead of Thursday’s Europa League tie against Feyenoord.
The pair have not played since the Premier League defeat against Chelsea over four weeks ago and were the only ones unavailable for training.
Reserves goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara also took part alongside Sam Johnstone, who has returned to action after he did not take part in the warm-up against Arsenal on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho’s side have won two and lost two of their Europa League fixtures, leaving them third in Group A, one point behind Feyenoord and Fenerbahce.
The Portuguese boss has confirmed Henrikh Mkhitaryan will finally play a role against Feyenoord in what will be his second appearance of the month.
Here is the list of Man United’s full training squad (via Manchester Evening News): De Gea, Romero, Johnstone, O’Hara, Valencia, Fosu-Mensah, Darmian, Jones, Rojo, Blind, Shaw, Herrera, Carrick, Fellaini, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger (ineligible), Pogba, Lingard, Young, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Memphis, Martial, Rooney, Ibrahimovic and Rashford.
Mourinho has a strong squad ahead of the clash, but we expect some players to be rested for the Premier League campaign, Michael Carrick for example, who Mourinho believes can only play one game a week.
United sit in the middle of their group and must win against Feyenoord to help build some stability to their campaign.
