Leon Bailey insists he will only join Manchester United if they can guarantee that he will receive game-time.

Jose Mourinho has allegedly sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old in action as he’s scored six goals in 18 games for K.R.C. Genk.

Should the Portuguese boss want to bring Bailey to Old Trafford he will face stiff competition as Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown an interest in his services.

Speaking about his situation, the Jamaica international claims he’ll stay at Genk if he isn’t promised games.

“I’ve always dreamt of the Premier League,” he said. “But if, let’s say, Man United can’t guarantee me minutes, I will stay at Genk.

“The important thing is that in the near future there a lot of games to come. This is essential for me because I have to take more steps. I’ve already made a lot of progress.

“When I go, where I go? That is a matter for my management. From the moment that there is something concrete, we’ll sit down at the table.”

He primarily plays on the left wing for Genk but is also comfortable on the right flank and was nominated nominated for the UEFA Golden Boy award in October following his impressive showings.

The club have indicated they could be tempted to sell him in January as he’s drawn interest from Europe’s biggest clubs, but with him interested in a move to the Premier League, it could be the perfect time for Mourinho to sign him up.
