Zlatan Ibrahimovic has opened up about his relationship with Paul Pogba at Manchester United.
The duo have been in brilliant form recently, both picking up one goal and an assist in the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
With both of them on the pitch, Man United have looked brilliant, and although results weren’t going as planned, it’s great to see Jose Mourinho has finally got the campaign back on track.
Speaking after the game, he emphasised how much they’ve enjoyed playing on the same team.
“We talk a lot and we try to help each other a lot,” he said. “I think he likes to play with me and I like to play with him too. But it is not only about us two, it is the whole team.
“We all put in the hard work. You could see we were not performing on top, but still we got the winner. Sometimes you hit the top and don’t get the winner, like in the last couple of weeks.”
Man United have been written off this season due to their poor start to the season, but they currently sit seven points off Liverpool in second.
They are in prime position to go on a run during the Christmas period, especially against the likes of West Brom, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
