FC Red Bull Salzburg striker Samuel Tetteh has expressed a desire to play for Manchester United in the future.
The Ghanaian, a life-long Man United fan, is currently on loan at FC Liefering and boasts an impressive record of nine goals in 13 games.
He netted his first international goal on just his second appearance for Ghana back in September.
And the 20-year-old, speaking to Pulse, expressed his ambition to play for Man United in the future.
“It has always been my dream to play in England, I am a Manchester United fan,” he said.
“I don’t really love any team like Manchester United and I will like to play for them. I like everything about the club, playing for them will be one of my biggest achievements, but I will also grab an opportunity to play for any of the big clubs in Europe.”
Tetteh remains in the truly nascent stages of his career. Aged 20, he is experiencing his first taste of European football, scoring for fun in the second tier of Austrian football.
Of course, nobody can make any judgements over whether the Ghanaian has what it takes to succeed at the highest level just yet, but the early signs are overwhelmingly positive. He has a sharp, notably natural eye for goal, with an ability to ghost into the box unnoticed. Alongside goalscoring prowess he provides raw pace, a sense of aggression and, even at just 20, superb awareness of what surrounds him.
It may be early doors, but Tetteh could be one to watch.
