Anthony Martial‘s agent claims the Frenchman could leave Manchester United for Sevilla in the January transfer window.
He has struggled at Old Trafford this season and hasn’t been able to re-find his form from last campaign, where he was the club’s top scorer with 17 goals.
After scoring just once in 11 Premier League appearances under Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese boss claimed he must improve to earn back his place in the starting XI.
Speaking about a January transfer, Philippe Lamboley confirmed a deal could be possible.
“Sevilla? We are indeed studying this possibility, we are talking about a large club,” he said.
“Sevilla has a good position in La Liga and has a great coach. But for now, I cannot say more.”
Mourinho has confirmed he will not stand in the way of any play that wants to leave the club if it matches United’s interest, but it’s highly unlikely that Martial would be allowed to leave just 16 months after they paid Monaco an initial £36million for his services.
Martial has suffered a dip in form and rather than talking about exit links, needs to put his head down and work hard to earn his status back as one of our most influential attackers.
