Anthony Martial responds to links with a Manchester United January exit

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has responded to transfer links around his future by posting an image of the club’s bade on his Instagram account.

He has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford as his agent, Philippe Lamboley, claimed they had explored the option of a move to Spanish club Sevilla.

The Frenchman hasn’t been able to cement his place in the starting XI under Jose Mourinho this season following difficulties in his career on and off the pitch.

However, Man United will not consider a deal for Martial in the January transfer window and it looks like he’s all clear on his priorities.

There would be plenty of clubs interested in signing him, but United would be silly to let Martial go one year after his arrival, especially as he finished last season as United’s top goal scorer.

Martial has endured a difficult start to the campaign but there is no doubting his ability as he has the right mindset to put his head down and hit the ground running underneath the Portuguese boss.

He showed the club’s crest in his Instagram post and it seems that he has set himself on proving that he is worth a place in the starting XI to face Middlesbrough on New Year’s Eve.
