Hull City vs Manchester United: Confirmed Teams EFL Cup semi-final

Manchester United Starting XI vs Hull City: De Gea; Rojo, Jones, Smalling, Darmian; Carrick, Herrera; Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Ibrahimovic.

Subs: Fosu-Mensah, Shaw, Fellaini, Romero, Rooney, Mata, Mkhitaryan

Jose Mourinho has named a strong team to face Hull City tonight at the KCOM Stadium but there are some notable absentees.

Luke Shaw doesn’t start tonight despite being fit so we can only presume he’ll start against Wigan Athletic on Sunday and there is no Anthony Martial in the squad at all for the second game in a row raising even more questions.

That’s a strong team for tonight and indicative that Mourinho has no intention of letting complacency slip into his players as they already have a 2-0 lead.

United are now 90 minutes away from a place at Wembley where Mourinho could win his first trophy as United’s manager only seven months into his first full season.

The game is live on Sky Sports. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
