Jose Mourinho has confirmed Ashley Young could leave Manchester United in the next 48 hours as the Englishman is pushing for a January deadline day exit.
The Portuguese boss wants him to stay at Old Trafford, but is uncertain over his future as five clubs have allegedly registered their interest in acquiring his services.
He’s on the search for more game time and hasn’t featured for Man United while his future is still up in the air, Mourinho was looking to play the Englishman as he hopes to rotate the squad, but Young wants more first-team action.

Man United are currently battling in four different competitions and Young would have picked up minutes as Mourinho has already expressed his fixture congestion fears.
There are other options on the team that have more to offer than Young and if he wants to leave so badly to find game time, he should be allowed to, especially as the 31-year-old enters the latter stages of his career.
He won’t receive the chance to start each week and if he’s bored of sitting on the bench, you can’t blame him for wanting to play the sport he loves.
