Anthony Martial produced a remarkable performance in Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Watford.

The Frenchman has been in and out of the starting XI in recent months even though he set up two goals against Wigan Athletic, as Jose Mourinho claimed he had to perform better, but he returned against Watford in perfect fashion.

He continuously got the ball forward and found Juan Mata with a brilliant ball from out wide for the opening goal of the game in the first-half and then finished the game with a brilliant goal on the counter-attack in the second-half.

Here’s a look at his brilliant statistics from the game against Walter Mazzarri’s men.

He completely deserved the success in his return as he worked so hard, and you could see from the opening minutes of the game that he was oozing with confidence, drifting in and out of defenders.

For a player that’s been out of favour under the Portuguese boss, it was a brilliant comeback for Martial and hopes are he can maintain his impressive form as he’s registered three goals and three assists in his past five starts for United in all competitions.
