Manchester United draw Chelsea in the 2017 FA Cup quarter-final

Manchester United have been drawn against Chelsea in this year’s FA Cup quarter-final.

Man United lost 4-0 away to Chelsea in the Premier League earlier this season and this is an opportunity for Jose Mourinho to get some revenge on his former club.

There were obviously better draws in this competition in terms of an easier fixture but that’s what the FA Cup is all about.

Ties will be played on the weekend of 10-13 March.

There’s nothing like an away day in the FA Cup and United should get a decent allocation at Stamford Bridge for this game. In the grand scheme of this season, the FA Cup is the least important of Mourinho’s objectives but going back to his former club he’ll want nothing but a win.

It’ll be a special game and let’s United can smash Chelsea on their own turf. Bring it on.
