Jose Mourinho has fielded a strong side to face Southampton in the EFL Cup Final at Wembley, making six changes from midweek as De Gea, Valencia, Rojo, Herrera, Lingard and Martial come into the side.

With Henrikh Mkhitaryan sidelined with an injury, Lingard will take his place in the starting line-up and it’s a shame because the Armenian would have definitely started if he was fit enough.

Mourinho claimed Carrick was ready to return earlier in the week and after Rooney confirmed he’s set to stay at Old Trafford this season, the Portuguese boss confirmed he would also play a part at Wembley.

The game kicks off at 16:30 and hopes are United can maintain their impressive form as they hope to win some silverware.
