Adnan Januzaj has opened up about his future at Manchester United, claiming he’s unsure about where he’ll be playing season.

He is currently on loan at Sunderland this season under David Moyes, where he’s only scored once in 22 games after struggling with his consistency.

The Belgian is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2018 but admits he doesn’t know whether or not he’ll be back in the summer as there are others in the squad that already have more to offer.

Speaking about his future, Januzaj claims he will be leaving Sunderland a much stronger player.

“It has been very difficult because it is not easy to go from Man United to Sunderland. I had to just do it, I will learn from it because I am 22,” he said.

“People think I am 26 or 27, I am only 22. I know people want more from me. The other side of it is that they have to look at other parts of my game.

“When I leave here I know I will be happy. I have learned a lot and it will make me stronger. I don’t know where I will be, but I will feel much fitter and will be happy.”

There’s no doubting his ability, but Januzaj still has plenty of work left to do if he has hopes of fitting back into the first-team at Old Trafford.

Hopes are he can continue his learning as he could become a top player if he puts his head down and works hard on improving.
