Manchester United have been handed a massive injury boost in regards to Paul Pogba’s fitness as he’s looking to return earlier than expected from his hamstring injury, according to reports.

The Frenchman has been a key player for Jose Mourinho this season following his move to Old Trafford in an £89million transfer from Juventus in the summer.

He’s currently sitting out the international break after pulling up with an injury in Man United’s Europa League victory over FC Rostov, with Mourinho claiming it was fatigue after a long season of playing almost every game.

Pogba has allegedly made good progress on his injury and could be set to return to the squad earlier than initially expected, as he should be back for Man United’s home game against Everton on 4 April.

He’s been brilliant this season, but playing a majority of games without any breaks took a toll on his body and it’ll be brilliant to have him back at full fitness for games against Chelsea in the Premier League and Anderlecht in the Europa League.

United have endured a frustrating international break, with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling both picking up knocks while on England duty, and Mourinho will hope the rest of his players return unharmed.
