Manchester United fans were delighted with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s performance against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.
The big Swede has been vital at Old Trafford this season, scoring 28 goals and registering 7 assists in 43 appearances, which his incredible for a 35-year-old.
He found the opening goal of the game against Sunderland, taking his tally to 17 league goals this season, the best ever tally from a Man United player since 2013/14.
Here’s what fans on social media had to say about his performance against David Moyes’ side.
What a goal. Ibrahimovic hadn't done anything. But it doesn't matter when you can score goals like that. Belter.

Typical Ibrahimovic. Absolutely awful yet provides a spontaneous moment of brilliance to lift #mufc again.

Ibrahimovic has been absolutely spectacular this season and although many will highlight all of the chances he’s missed, Zlatan has still scored a majority of our goals by far.
He’s done well to silence critics at Old Trafford as many believed he wouldn’t be able to adapt to life in the Premier League in the latter stages of his career.
Hopes are Mourinho can tie him down at United for next season as there’s no doubting that the side look much more threatening with the big Swede leading the line.
