Jose Mourinho has provided an injury update on his Manchester United players ahead of the Europa League semi-final clash against Celta Vigo.

Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Paul Pogba were all back in action as the players trained at Carrington earlier on Tuesday afternoon and the Portuguese boss has confirmed Eric Bailly will be ready.

He’s still without the likes of Marcos Rojo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Luke Shaw, but the returning players will be a massive boost to the situation at Old Trafford.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of the clash, Mourinho provided an update on his players.

“Bailly is ready to play,” he said.

He also confirmed Smalling, Jones and Pogba were back.

They’ve all been vital players at United this season and the squad will look much healthier with them selected as Mourinho was running out of actions as players kept on picking up injuries.

He’ll have a bit more leeway as he looks to rotate players during a very busy schedule of fixtures in the Europa League and Premier League in their main aim of a Champions League qualification.
