Manchester United fans were left in a state of awe following Marcus Rashford‘s sensational display during their side’s first leg 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in the Europa League semi final.
The youngster enjoyed a bright start to the clash, forcing keeper Sergio Alvarez into making a superb save before teeing up Jesse Lingard with an excellent chance in the first half.
He kept harassing Celta’s back four and, after winning a free kick, duly lashed the ball into the far corner to hand Man United a crucial away goal.
United supporters didn’t hesitate when it came to hailing the youngster for what was another commanding performance at No.9.
Rashford has scary potential. The way he's started demanding set pieces, he knows he's the man.

Superb from Rashford. Absolutely sensational. 19 years old and steps up to take @ManUtd's freekicks ahead of Pogba et al. He's got it all.

You reckon Welbeck looks at Rashford like Salieri looked at Mozart?

The 19-year-old is almost single handedly destroying the notion that age matters in football. Most teenagers at this level are coming on for the last 20 minutes at home to, say, AFC Bournemouth and running around for a bit; Rashford is deciding European ties for United.
Perhaps the most striking thing about Rashford’s demeanour is the unquestionable seniority and intelligence to his movements on and off the ball. He may be embarking on his first full season in a United shirt but, with 48 appearances under Mourinho, he feels like a senior member of the squad. Just look at how he stands over that free kick and silences 27,000 Celta supporters.
Rashford has added a sense of poise to his raw aggression on the ball this year, emphatically demonstrating to the watching world that he is far from a one season wonder.
