Manchester United vs Celta Vigo: Squad news from the Lowry

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United head into tomorrow night’s game against Celta Vigo with no fresh injury concerns and some key players will be fully rested after being left out of the squad to face Arsenal last weekend.

Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly and Daley Blind were given a rest by Jose Mourinho and all of them were spotted at the Lowry hotel checking in ahead of Man United’s game on Thursday. After so much bad injury news in the last few weeks, this is a welcome change.

Axel Tuanzebe keeps his place in the squad after a fine Premier League debut at the Emirates. Who knows, maybe he will make his Europa League debut this week too.

Here is Man United’s match-day squad vs Celta Vigo (via MEN): David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Daley Blind, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford

We will bring you the official starting XI at 1900GMT on Thursday, an hour before kick-off against Celta Vigo.
