Paul Pogba ready to return for Man United following the death of his father

Paul Pogba was given compassionate leave by Jose Mourinho for the Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton games following the death of his father but the French midfielder is ready to return this weekend for Manchester United.

Pogba has been Man United’s most influential player this season and without him we are a different looking team, so it’s great news he feels ready to return.

He joined up with his teammates in Friday’s open training session and Mourinho has confirmed he will play against Crystal Palace so he can get his match sharpness back ahead of Wednesday night’s Europa League final against Ajax:

The success of United’s season entirely depends on the outcome of the Europa League final. Win and we’ve had a brilliant debut season under Mourinho with two trophies and Champions League qualification; lose and we walk away with the League Cup and no Champions League next year having turned our back on the top four in order to pursue the Europa League.

Pogba will be instrumental in our success in Stockholm if we are to win so having him back for the Crystal Palace is a real boost and fans are looking forward to seeing him back in action.
