Manchester United fans have expressed their enthusiasm in light of reports pointing towards a move to Old Trafford for Inter Milan and Croatia winger Ivan Perisic.
Jose Mourinho made a trip to Croatia back in March during the international break to hold talks over a potential bid for Perisic, who has made 40 appearances for Inter this season.
Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that Mourinho had offered €35m for the 28-year-old, only for Inter to respond by demanding €55m.
Talks will continue in due course, but supporters were quick to register their early support for the bid.
On Perisic: A decent winger, hard worker + reliable. He'll run and be everywhere but not the most skillfull player or the most productive..

So many don't rate Perisic cos they haven't watch him play over a period of time. I prefer him to James

Perisic such a valuable winger would be for Manchester United. Focused, smart, talented, consistent, one of few decisive players in Italy

The fact that Mourinho has placed emphasis on moving for Perisic – as opposed to Bernardo Silva, who joined Manchester City earlier this week – tells you plenty about the squad he wants to build for next season.
Silva is something of a mesmerising genius and will, you feel, supplement the Pep Guardiola mould; Mourinho, on the other hand, is after something more industrious – a player capable of not just producing smart moments on the ball but also apt when it comes to executing the ugly duties often ignored by a winger.
And anybody who has watched Perisic over the last year – especially at Euro 2016 – will tell you that he fits such criteria to an almost perfect degree.
