Manchester United are keen on signing Alvaro Morata who is widely expected to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.
He’s been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan as Morata was thought to be leaning towards a move back to Italy.
However, OkDiario claims Morata’s head has been turned by Mourinho as he could be destined to make a summer move to Old Trafford.
He is said to be 100 percent committed to leaving Real ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Russia as he wants to be playing regularly to guarantee his spot in Spain’s squad.
Morata has struggled for game time this season under Zinedine Zidane but has still remained a threat in front of goal since rejoining Madrid from Juventus in the summer.
Mourinho has allegedly convinced him to join Man United after claiming he could make him one of the best No.9’s in the world.
Man United’s struggles in front of goal have been well-documented this campaign and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic ruled out with a long-term injury, Mourinho will be on the lookout to bolster his attacking options in the summer transfer window.
