Manchester United have not received a bid for David de Gea – report

Manchester United have not received a £60m offer from Real Madrid for David de Gea, according to multiple sources.

The Spaniard has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit with Madrid reviving their interest in a summer move, and Sky Sports reported that Man United had turned down a £60m offer for De Gea.

However, since then, multiple well-reputable reporters have confirmed that Man United have not received an offer for the goalkeeper as club officials have not been aware of any deal.

The summer transfer window hasn’t even opened yet but it seems like there must be something wrong with the fax machine once again as Real Madrid clearly haven’t been talking to Man United over a potential deal.

He is said to be happy at the club and is looking forward to playing in the Champions League under Jose Mourinho, who has the foundations in place to build a very good side, which the Spaniard quite clearly wants to be a part of.

Keeping him in between the sticks at Old Trafford will be a big task, but it’s what makes him the world’s best goalkeeper and is why Ed Woodward will be working hard to keep the club’s No.1.
