Lazio’s Felipe Anderson admits he has dreams of joining a club like Manchester United in the future.
He’s made over 100 appearances for Lazio since signing from Santos in 2013 and had previously been massively linked with a move to Old Trafford.
His move collapsed in 2015 after both teams had allegedly agreed to a deal, but it seems like he could be trying to push a move through under Jose Mourinho.
Speaking about a potential move this summer, Anderson confirmed his dreams of joining United.
“After my season that was very good in the second year, there has always been a lot of speculation,” he said.
“It ends up that the player begins to think a lot about it and the focus goes away a little.
“In the last two years, I leave it with my sister who takes care of my things, with my agents.
“I’m enjoying my vacation now, I don’t even want to think about it.
“Of course, it’s my career, my future, but I know the work I’ve done, and even what I have to do on vacation, take care of myself.
“Because if an opportunity shows up, or when I present myself at Lazio, I have to present myself very well.
“Every player dreams of playing for a team like United.”
He joined the club from Santos in 2013 for £6m and is currently under contract in Rome until June 2020.
United could sign him but will face stiff competition as Chelsea manager Antonio Conte knows the attacker from his time in Italy.
